Background背景

Anovelapproachformanagingmalignantpleuralmesothelioma,surgeryformesotheliomaafterradiotherapy(SMART),consistingofashortacceleratedcourseofhigh-dose,hemithoracic,intensitymodulatedradiotherapy(IMRT)followedbyextrapleuralpneumonectomywasdeveloped.TheaimofthisstudywastoevaluatetheclinicalfeasibilityoftheSMARTprotocol.
